Rev. Stephen Fleming

Reverend Stephen Fleming is a dedicated seeker of Truth. Raised in the Unity tradition since the age of six, he continues a rich legacy as the fourth minister to lead Unity of New Orleans in its 75-year history. This lineage began with the church's founder, Reverend Ruth Childress Murphy, who, in a remarkable moment of foresight, predicted that a seven-year-old Stephen would one day become a Unity minister.

Reverend Fleming's vision is to authentically serve a spiritually vibrant community, helping individuals and the collective deepen their connection to God. His ministry focuses on fostering the recognition and awakening of the inherent abilities within every individual, empowering them to contribute to the spiritual upliftment of the community.

His life's purpose is rooted in enlightening, learning, teaching, healing, and inspiring. Reverend Fleming strives to nurture self-esteem and self-love by encouraging a greater appreciation of our inherent goodness. Through the use of universal symbols of inclusion, such as Spirit, he gently redirects perceptions from division and separation to unity and oneness.
