Youth and Family Ministry
The Youth and Family Ministry of the Unity Church provides a spiritual foundation for children, teens, and families by teaching practical, positive, and empowering spiritual principles in an inclusive and loving environment. The ministry focuses on fostering a deep connection with the Divine, self-awareness, and the power of positive thinking.
Core Teachings of Unity Youth and Family Ministry:

1. God is Within and Everywhere
Children and teens are taught that God is not a distant being but an ever-present source of love, wisdom, and goodnessthat exists within them and all around them.

2. Everyone is Divine and Has Infinite Potential
The ministry emphasizes that each person is an expression of God, inherently good and filled with unlimited potential. Young people learn to embrace their unique talents, inner wisdom, and divine nature.

3. Thoughts and Words Have Power
Unity teaches youth that their thoughts, beliefs, and words shape their experiences. Through affirmations, mindfulness, and positive thinking, they learn how to create a life filled with love, joy, and purpose.

4. Prayer and Meditation as Tools for Spiritual Growth
Children and teens are introduced to affirmative prayer and meditation, helping them cultivate inner peace, self-awareness, and a deeper connection with God.

5. Living Spiritual Truths in Everyday Life
The ministry encourages youth to practice kindness, compassion, gratitude, and forgiveness in their daily interactions. By applying spiritual principles, they learn to navigate life’s challenges with faith and resilience.
